CO-OWNER OPERATOR Steve Ivie is a highly qualifeid underground miner and mine operations  manager. His experience spans  some of the most important underground mines in North America. Steve started his career in Idaho's  Couer d' Alene District at the legendary Sunshine Mine one of the world's richest silver mines.  He has succesfully mined using a wide vareity of underground mining techniques and methods. Steve has worked as a miner and mine contractor  at the Magma Copper Mine in Arizona, the Stillwater Platinum and Palladium Mine in Montana, the Crescent, Bunker Hill and  Galena Mines in Idaho, the Independance Mine in Nevada and many others. His mining expertise includes: 

• RAISE MINING: Installing raise preps and running 4 cap and 3 cap raises.
• RAMP AND FILL MINING: Using jumbos, jacklegs and various sizes of diesel loaders.
• STOPE MINING:  Cut and fill stopes using jacklegs, cavo muckers and slushers.
• DRIFT MINING: Drifts and crosscuts using jacklegs, jumbos and diesel loaders, track drifts with overshot muckers.
• BLASTING AND EXPLOSIVES: ATF certified to handle and purchase explosives, blasting caps and blasting products. Experienced with a number blasting techniques and variety of explosives types and brands. 
• CONTRACT MINING SERVICES:  Previous positions as lead miner, operations manager, mining division manager, Vice-president and owner/operator. 
• CENTRAL MINE RESCUE: Member of the Coeur d' Alene Mining District Central Mine Rescue Team. He is trained in underground firefighting, mine evacuation, first aid, recovery techniques, artificial breathing systems and other emergency response techniques. Underground Mine Rescue involves some of the most complex and high risk situations faced by any Emergency Responders anywhere.
